September kicked off with the South Pacific Open Snooker being won by Ryan Thomerson from Victoria after defeating Shaun Dalitz (NSW) 4-1 in the final at Club Marconi in Sydney.

The next National Ranking snooker event is the rotating Pot Black Open (22-24) which is being held at the Kedron Wavell Club in Brisbane – Queensland. Last year’s event was won by Mathew Bolton who is now competing on the main tour.

We then come back to Sydney at the Mounties Club with the Australian Women’s Snooker (7-10 October) and the Bob Hawke AC Australian Open Snooker (13-15 October). Last years Women’s event was an IBSF ranking and won by Vidya Pillai (India) defeating Jessica Woods. The Men’s was won by Sydney home town favourite Roger Farebrother.

The 2017 Snooker calendar year in Oz is then concluded with the Reventon Rankings Final event held at the Reventon Snooker Academy in Yarraville – Victoria on the 27-29 October.
