Please find below information regarding the WBL Billiards Coaching Accreditation Program. The ABSC has been liaising with Billiards Australia on this great initiative which actively promotes and supports both Billiards and Coaching. See below for further information.

“The course date is now 100% confirmed.

If you have submitted your application form and passed the online test it is now safe to make travel and accommodation arrangements.

There are no hotels near the venue, and I have been unable to arrange any billet accommodation.

Most people book through Airbnb. Search “Yarraville” and “Seddon”.

There are cottages suitable for 2 or 3 guys to share, and there are also options for a private room in someone’s house (which are often much less expensive).

If you prefer hotel style accommodation, the Travelodge Docklands is the best bet – but don’t book through their web site, use Trivago or Expedia for a better rate.

Successful applicants will receive a separate email regarding payment – BSANSW will cover accreditation fees for our members.

You need to aim to be at the venue; 175D Stephen Street Yarraville, by 9.30 am on Thursday 21st September for a 10.00 am start.

A light lunch will be provided that day, included in the course fee.

The budget may even stretch to a beverage or two at the end of the day!

For those who are interested, we will have dinner somewhere on the Thursday night.

I am arranging a visit to the Lindrum house on the Friday morning, subject to approval, at around 10.00 am – so If you are interested in being a part of that, do not book an early flight home.

Please advise me of your flight details if coming from interstate. I will do my very best to arrange airport pick-ups – but there may be some issues as Wednesday is a busy day for some of us, and Wednesday evening is A-grade Billiards competition night in Melbourne. Friday drop-offs should present no problem.
