Shawn Budd has won the 2017 Fred Osbourne Memorial Snooker in Albury after defeating Ryan Thomerson 4-2 in the final.

Shawn had close early matches defeating Michael Hough 3-2 and Roger Farebrother 3-2. His game further lifted after 3-0 wins over Steve Mifsud in the quarters and Ayaz Khan in the semi final.

Aaron Mahoney had the highest break of the tournament with a 111.
