It was a busy weekend on the Snooker scene with NSW, QLD and WA hosting their respective State Championship. The WA snooker continues today from the Quarter Finals.

In NSW Vinnie Calabrese defeated Brett Watson 4-1. A great result for Brett reaching his first ever ranking event final.

In QLD Stephen Burford had a great 5-0 win over Daniel Haenga. Well done Stephen, all reports say you were on fire.

The Lance Pannell Snooker Classic kicks off this weekend at the Yarraville Club in Melbourne. This is followed by the Open and National Billiards being played at the same event. The events will be streamed by Cueball TV.

The Lance Pannell Snooker Classic will be a Reventon Ranking event this year due to the cancellation of the 2017 Tasmanian Open.

The event will remain a Reventon event permanently due to it being played at the Reventon Academy at the Yarraville Club.
