Another Aussie on the World Pro Tour

23 Mar 2017 by Alex Render

Last week Matthew Bolton from Western Australia was successful in winning both the Oceania Snooker and Billiards Championships which were played at the Commercial Club in Albury NSW.

Winning the Oceania Snooker gave Matthew the opportunity to be nominated to compete on the Snooker World Professional circuit.

Matthew had indicated that would have a crack at the 2 year tour card if accepted. Today the Oceania Billiards and Snooker Federation (OBSF) received formal confirmation from the WPBSA that Mathew has been accepted onto the Professional tour.

He will now be the 3rd Aussie on the current tour along side Neil Robertson and Kurt Dunham who also won the Oceania last year.

The ABSC Board and all members wish him the very best of luck.
