The Oceania Championships continue at the Commercial Club in Albury (NSW) with the Men’s Snooker main event well underway. The tournament is down to the Last 16. Mathew Bolton holds the highest break of 113.Other centuries include a 110 by Ryan Thomerson and 101 by Josh Gorski.

A couple of upsets in round robin stages of the event included experienced Alan McCarthy defeating Ryan Thomerson 3-1 and Cale Barrett defeating Steve Mifsud 3-2. So far most matches have been won as expected in the knockout stages.

In the 6 Red Men’s event Adrian Ridley (Vic) dominated to take the against fellow Victorian Ryan Thomerson 6-0. Well done Adrian!

In the Women’s it was new comer from WA Belinda Ngo who stole the hearts of the audience making her first final against one of Snookers most accomplished Ladies in Magaret Gorski. Belinda pushed Margaret all the way but eventually losing 4-3 in a very exciting match!
